⬢ All year we play on our teams, this summer we flip the style to DRAFT. Everyone enters the league a free agent and gets drafted onto a team. 'Draft style' breaks up the super teams and ensures the teams are even, the games are competitive and it's a great way to play with new people.
⬢ Draft will be held on Thursday, June 25th - Captains can only draft up to 3 players from their regular team.
⬢ Players will be drafted onto teams - thus requests to play with friends may not be honored for this league.
⬢ Refunds will not be provided once teams are drafted.
⬢ Players can only participate on one team.
⬢ Players can only participate in the appropriate level of play. Players may be removed from a league if they clearly belong in one division or the other.
⬢ Space is limited to ONLY 4 teams in each division (32 males and 16 females per level of play)
⬢ Games will be played on Thursday Nights
⬢ Games start at 7:00, 8:00 or 9:00pm
⬢ All Games played at JFK Stadium in Hoboken
⬢ 8 vs 8 (no more than 5 male players on the field at one time) - SUBJECT TO CHANGE based on number of registrations
⬢ All players must bring their own flags. Players or Teams can purchase flags from us at the field for $10 per set.
⬢ Players are responsible for bringing their flags each week. Additional belts/flags will be available at the field to purchase for $10 per set. We will not have flags available to borrow.
⬢ FLAG FOOTBALL
⬢ No Blocking or Physical Play
⬢ Unsportsmanlike behavior is not tolerated
⬢ A female player must be prominently involved at least once every 3 plays
⬢ Two 23 minute halves - 1 hour time limit
⬢ 6 regular season games
⬢ Divisions may be combined based on number of registrations.
⬢ At least 50% of teams qualify for playoffs
⬢ Start Date - July 9
